At Lighthouse Community Church we envision a community of worshippers, with a solid biblical foundation, administering healing, building families, and reaching out to the world. Our mission is to build a healthy family of worshippers that have a heart for God and a heart for people.

LIGHTHOUSE VALUES

PRAYER: Without prayer we can accomplish nothing for God. History has proven again and again that it is prayer that spawns revival and prayer that changes nations. (James 5:16)

WORSHIP: We believe that man was created for a personal relationship with God. Thus, this church holds as a primary value God-centered worship, which seeks to both glorify Him, and to enjoy His presence.

TRUTH: We believe that our faith is based on actual, historical events. Further, we believe in the uniqueness of the Christian message and the Christian worldview, which still provides the most compelling answers to life’s toughest questions. (John 14:6)

SOLID BIBLICAL TEACHING:We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God. II Timothy 3:16.

EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS: We believe that every Christian is called to ministry and has unique gifts and talents to that end (Ephesians 2:10). This church is committed to helping individuals find their unique place in the body of Christ and see their individual calling fulfilled.

MISSIONS AND EVANGELISM: We believe in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19,20). The message of the Gospel is good news and thus should be shared. This church strives to be active in the local community, and in short-term missions.

FAMILIES: Families must be a priority in reaching our city and our world. Families are a priority to God. Strong families provide an example to the world and ensure that our children grow up in the fear of the Lord. The health of marriages and families today will produce the leaders of tomorrow and strong marriages for the next generation.
